In their appearance insatiability and abundance are demonstrated by the pages of the book pouring out of their solid encasement of lead. Claudia Steiger has folded the book like a sharp wedge forming into the shape of a widely opening funnel from the top to the bottom, money pouring inside, taxes increasing, we cannot get rid of special levies. If the viewer changes the perspective he has even the feeling as if a long tongue was stretching out to him. The Treasury is laughing and making fun of the tax payers. |
